Where to live in Spain, with data you can check
flatin.es gathers public data about every place in Spain — province, municipality, neighbourhood — to help you choose where to buy a home. Every figure carries its source and date.
What you will find here
- Place pages: population and foreign residents, climate, IBI property tax, appraisal prices and sales, holiday rentals.
- Where-to-live guides: neighbourhoods with verdicts and reasons, not adjectives.
- New builds: developments and developers by area, starting with the Costa Blanca.
Where we start
The Costa Blanca: Alicante and Torrevieja. Then Málaga and the Costa del Sol.

We only use data whose licence allows commercial use, and we always cite the source:
- INE — Spain’s National Statistics Institute, CC BY 4.0 licence.
- Ministries (housing, interior, finance) — reuse under Royal Decree 1495/2011, with attribution.
- AEMET — Spain’s State Meteorological Agency, “Fuente: AEMET”.
We do not publish notary or land-registry data: their terms prohibit commercial use.
